Support the Healing Power of the Arts at ELM Foundation

.ART is more than just a domain—it’s a commitment to the profound affects of art. Part of our commitment is our active Art Therapy Initiative which receives a portion of our domain sale revenue and aims to popularize art as a healing tool. We currently help fund fellowships at George Washington University’s Art Therapy program, and we recently became members of the Art Therapy Association. One of our community healers is the ELM Foundation (www.ELMfoundation.art) based in Brooklyn, NY:

We believe in the healing and transformative power of art. It is the cornerstone of everything we do.

Located in the heart of North Brooklyn, our mission is to foster self-expression, resilience, and belonging through free arts education, advocacy for kids art therapy, and mentorship through community engagement. By providing inclusive and accessible programs, we empower youth and families to use creativity as a tool for growth and connection.

Through our initiatives, we have seen firsthand the incredible therapeutic impact the arts have on our community, and just how much creativity can heal, inspire, and connect people—especially our youth.

One of our key initiatives is our free arts education programming. We offer four sessions each year of free after school art classes, such as Screen Printing, Stop Motion, and DJing. These classes provide children a safe space to express themselves creatively, explore their emotions, and build confidence.

With nearly half of our students identifying as neurodivergent, our nurturing approach ensures that each individual feels seen, valued, and supported. Seeing their growth and confidence soar is a testament to the transformative power of the arts.

Our End of Year Giving Campaign

For this giving season, we are raising funds to support our free arts education programming. All funds go directly into maintaining current programming for the kids of ELM, with the hope of raising enough funds to expand programming for 2025.

Our work wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our community. Our programming relies heavily on the success of our fundraising.
