.ART Award for Digital Innovation in Art – past nominees

Digital Innovation in Art award has been supported by .ART for three years. The Award recognises the innovators in the art industry that are using digital technology to push the traditional boundaries of the art market.

.ART award is held as part of the Investor Allstars ceremony which has been crowned the “Oscars” and “Must Attend” event for the European Entrepreneurial and Investor Community. The event seeks to energise and celebrate the successes of the European entrepreneurial ecosystem and draw attention to the risk-takers and CEOs who are creating the global winners of tomorrow.

With selection process underway for the 2019 winners, we are looking back at our nominees and winners from the past years.

“The online is completely new for me, and yet it works. We sold two Ferraris – in the last two months – just like that! And I was really not expecting to sell Ferraris, you know.”
Jean-Baptiste Fabre, Founder of Auction After Sale

“Art is still an industry where there is still lots of potential to grow and for a lot of it to move onto a digital platform.”
Patrick van der Vorst, Founder of Value My Stuff

“You don’t have to have a tech background to make an interesting company in the tech field!”
Amy MacKinnon, Head of Business Development at Articheck, Winner of Digital Innovation in Art 2018

“Our job consists of a lot of convincing the artists to do their own marketing, because that’s eventually what sells and what makes them more famous.”
