.ART Google Trends Watch IX: Respect, Jason Momoa Feelings and Billie Eilish BBC Special

Respect is screening, and Jennifer Hudson is joining by Aretha Franklin family for a special one!
Jennifer Hudson is depicting the Queen of Soul in the latest biopic, and while she is currently in Detroit promoting it, she made it extra special when some family members of Franklin joined her. She also made a detour to pose in front of a mural depicting Franklin at the Museum of African American History and an exhibition at the Detroit Historical Museum. Art, Music and Cinema are meshing together in the celebration of a legend! That should all command our respect!

Jason Momoa is getting it out of his system.
It had been 10 years already since  Jason Momoa embraced the role of chieftain Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones. Since then, he has been Aquaman and is amongst the distribution of Dunes upcoming in October. His feelings are still not at a standstill regarding how things are perceived and going down in Hollywood.

It’s all subjective. I try not to pick on anything. So, yeah, superhero movies are bubble gum, but they’re like Greek mythology: They have good and evil and heartbreaking moments. And, gosh, you’re taking away other art forms if you stop making them.” – Jason Momoa in the article in NYT Jason Momoa Is Bummed About Hollywood’s Attitude Toward Action Movies

And while his choice of roles might seem jumping left to right, they are all a decision he makes to spotlight important issues like his care for the environment. At the end of the day, he might have regrets for taking on some role, but they are all part of a learning curve.

Billie Eilish isn’t chewing her words on the new BBC One Special

BBC One special ‘Billie Eilish: Up Close has just been released, and in this 45 minutes special, the 19-year-old is opening up about what goes down online and all the trolling she has been the victim of.

“I try so hard to do good for the world and do good for people.” Billie Eilish

Unfortunately for her and anybody else who put themselves out there, everything in life remains subjective, and nobody can please anybody else. We hope that she will find tricks to cope with and share them along the way.
