We all know that art transcends language. In all its forms, it conveys a range of emotions and stories – we don’t have to read the label to understand what message is being relayed through art.

This is why .ART is so proud to have adopters spanning the world: art truly has no geographical boundaries. The outstanding contributions by various nationals to the field of art history deserves attention and applause, and such is the case when it comes to German scholars like Immanuel Kant, Walter Benjamin and many others. German artists’ contribution to the richness of the arts is uncontested: Caspar David Friedrich, Die Brücke, Ernst Ludwig Kirchne, Der Blaue Reiter, Wassily Kandinsky, modern artists like The Becker and Joseph Beuys and the Düsseldorf School to Anselm Kiefer, Gerhard Richter, and contemporary ones includingRosemarie Trockel, Andreas Gursky, Thomas Ruff, Katharina Fritsch, and Thomas Schütte.

Expressing your passion for the arts could be done more quickly and efficiently when you adopt a .ART domain. There is a multitude of advantages that come with adopting a .ART domain, no less so than having an instantly recognisable and highly marketable extension. Since its inception, .ART has vouched to serve the art community and innovate to offer solutions that artists and creatives want and need, such as a free website builder or the .ART Digital Twin. With our latest incredible milestones and the trust of more than 100 000 domain holders, the .ART Team feels highly energised to continue its journey.

Why don’t we focus on some of our German adopters who recognised and valued what adopting a .ART domain means for their brand.

In his day-to-day life, he wears many hats by working within the creative, art and photography directions as well as working with brands on their experience and content. We love his art direction project for Elle Decoration which is both Bauhaus and design inspired.

Quicolourful is well known for their colourful site-specific art installations in which they reduce their work to the very quintessence of art itself: Color and Form. Their abstract and fundamental approach to colour and form let them create universal installations that enable the spectators to truly experience art. Their art is universal in their nature and has a strong impact on the spectator’s senses.”
