If you’re in Hong Kong this week, look up—seriously. From March 28 to April 3, the city’s glowing LED billboards in Mong Kok will be transformed into massive digital canvases for LUMINANCE, a public art takeover from Art Innovation that merges design, technology, and contemporary culture.
And leading the charge? Medina Kasimova, official artist of .ART and the inspiration behind our Healing Power of Art initiative. Medina’s luminous, layered digital work will be showcased on one of the city’s largest displays, offering a moment of visual calm, wonder, and introspection in the middle of one of the world’s busiest intersections.
Known for her signature style blending emotion, color, and movement, Medina Kasimova’s art taps into something rare in the digital space: actual feeling. Her works in LUMINANCE continue her ongoing mission to make art a tool for collective healing—something that feels especially urgent in today’s overstimulated world.
This moment in Hong Kong isn’t just another screen showing pretty things. It’s about scale, visibility, and impact—taking digital art off your phone and putting it where everyone can see it. Medina’s inclusion underscores just how far her work has traveled—from the heart of our art therapy initiatives to one of the most international art stages on the planet.
Event: LUMINANCE by Art Innovation
Where:
Horizontal Billboard: 6-12 Sai Yeung Choi Street South, Mong Kok
Vertical Billboard: 33A Argyle Street, Mong Kok
When: March 28 – April 3, 2025

The exhibition is divided into four categories: Feature, Solo, Brand, and Unlimited—and Medina’s work lives in a space between them, bridging personal expression, public engagement, and brand ethos. Alongside her, the billboard series features works by top creators like Marcel van Luit, Mat Voyce, Elastique., and more.
Medina’s participation in LUMINANCE is part of a growing movement: using public digital space for emotional, cultural, and even therapeutic connection. At .ART, we believe in the power of visibility—not just for art, but for artists with purpose. This exhibition brings Medina’s vision to a global audience, reinforcing what we’ve always known: digital art is not just decoration—it’s a vehicle for healing, storytelling, and change.
So if you’re in Hong Kong, make sure to catch it. And if you’re not—stay tuned. Medina’s just getting started.
