“Metatronia” is a truly interdisciplinary performance, incorporating filmmaking, dance, sculpture, and music. Made in partnership with Uniqlo clothing brand, it features choreography created in conjunction with Gerard & Kelly and dancers from California State University.

Metatron’s Cube, which Solange conceptualized and created, is the central piece of the performance. Its simplicity and minimalism facilitates the other aspects of the action. Solange intended for the Cube to be easily assembled and disassembled so that the performance could take place in different landscapes. There are whispers that she will tour with the piece at a later time.
