Giving a Platform to Art Students; .ART Domains Partners with the Rodchenko School
The .ART Community Program is giving students a platform to showcase their art globally. As part of this new initiative, schools, universities, students, and other partners will obtain a third-level domain name such as universityname.is.art. To ensure that this program is a success, they are also given access to a free website builder. This ensures that every participant can quickly create their websites, ranging from portfolios to individual and group projects, online exhibition, term papers, and, of course, entering contests and competitions.
By creating their own website on .ART, students will be able to emphasize their belonging to the art community in the global online space. A professional digital portfolio contributes to helping students adapt to the professional environment and the art market and give them the potential to start earning from their art. This new initiative is aligned with the overarching goals of .ART; to connect, empower and support so our community can generate value from their art.
“After this difficult pandemic period, our commitment is to help students anchor themselves in the digital space, to provide proeficient tools for their entry into the professional [art] world. In recent years, we have developed a set of new products, including NFT minting, .ART Digital Twin, an easy to use low barrier to entry website builder. These solutions and tools will be very useful to the student community. We’ve received tremendous support from the creative community that continues to add to our digital hub. This has brought us to the position of the top 10 fastest growing domain zones in the world, and are delighted to give back and put our efforts to support the community, ”says Ulvi Kasimov, .ART Founder
In addition, to offer websites and online solutions, this will become a multifaceted program. The .ART team will hold a series of speeches, meetings and seminars. Topics relevant to the creative community will be discussed, such as promoting the work of emerging artists in the digital space, conversation on professionalization and many more pivotal topics. The first Russian educational institution to become a partner of the .ART Community Program is The Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia. The Rodchenko Art School (Moscow) was founded in 2006. It is part of the Multimedia Centre of Actual Arts, which incorporates the Moscow House of Photography and is affiliated with one of .ART first partners, the Multimedia Art Museum of Moscow | mamm.art.
