TECH.ART has been sold! The forward-thinking owner is Martin Dahlin, a 35 year old Technical Artist from Stockholm, Sweden. He’s been working in the game industry since late 2010, where he started out as a 3D Artist, having before studied to become a Web Designer. Mark calls himself “a third-generation gamer” who first started playing games at about age 5 on his father’s Amiga 500.

A few generic domains carrying over our motto that everything is an art if you’re its master have been sold, including CRAFTBEER.ART and SHIATSU.ART. Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork based on concepts in traditional Chinese medicine such as qi meridians.

The art community now counts with the support of Rick Carter on RICKCARTER.ART, an American production designer and art director. He is best known for his collaborations with directors Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis, particularly on the films Back to the Future Part II, Back to the Future Part III, Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, The Polar Express, War Horse, and Lincoln. He is also known for his work on James Cameron’s Avatar, and for the J. J. Abrams-directed Star Wars films The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker. He is a two-time winner of the Academy Award for Best Production Design for his work on Avatar and Lincoln. AVATAR.ART was sold earlier this year, we’re still wondering what that might be about 😉

Meanwhile, the first name supply of .ART domains continues to diminish: EUGENIE.ART and INGRID.ART have found their owners, but you might still be lucky enough to snatch your domain name.

Last but not least, someone’s gotten their hands on CCTV.ART! Questionable? Yes. Could be incredibly interesting? Definitely. Topical. 100%
